Brightmart OÜ is the controller of personal data collected on tarkmart.com.

What we collect and why

• Order data (name, delivery address, email, phone, order contents): to process and deliver your order and handle returns or complaints. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Account data (if you create an account): to let you view orders and save details. Legal basis: contract.
• Accounting records: we must keep invoices and payment records for 7 years under Estonian accounting law. Legal basis: legal obligation.
• Messages you send us: to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Cookies and analytics: essential cookies for the cart and checkout; analytics and marketing cookies only if you accept them in the cookie banner. Legal basis: consent.

Who we share it with

Only what is needed, with: payment providers (WooPayments/Stripe, PayPal), delivery carriers, partner suppliers who ship products directly to you, our website hosting provider, and Google (only if you consent to analytics/marketing cookies). We do not sell your data.

Transfers outside the EU

Some providers (e.g. Stripe, PayPal, Google) may process data outside the EU/EEA. Such transfers rely on EU adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Order and accounting data: 7 years. Account data: until you delete your account. Messages: up to 2 years after the matter is closed.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email support@tarkmart.com. You may also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee).
